5yrs independent & still going strong!

Image by Lucas Messerer from Soul Focus Studio

Hi A/all!

I can't believe it but I've been an independent pro Domme now for 5 years!

As I've often said, I had no idea how much work, commitment and passion it'd take to become a private Mistress and build My own studio. The windfall gain has most certainly been how I've grown in that time though and the things I've accomplished - not just the fact that Tokyo is alive, well and still whipping yo' ass!

I've become a much more accomplished Domme than I ever could have been if I'd stayed at a commercial house. I've really been able to spread My wings and distill My own particular session style. I've gone a lot further into fetish and BDSM than I ever thought possible - and I love it!

I've become a published mojo (mobile journalist) for Tony Mitchell's TheFetishistas.com, covering the local Australian kink and fetish scene, with the odd foray into international events.

I've become a renowned fetish model, mainly via Bootlovers.com. (We have another issue out soon, btw. Yes, you WON'T BELIEVE the boots I'm wearing!)

I was awarded the honour of "Sydney Ms Leather 2012", competing in San Francisco in March 2012 for the "International Ms Leather" title. As this year's titleholder, I'm a notable at Sydney Leather Pride Events alongside the fabulous Richard Savvy, "Sydney Mr Leather 2012". Under this mantle, I've started My own public monthly GLBTIQ rope bondage group, called "Rope Flow".

I've designed and manufactured My own latex for My personal wardrobe, totally unique heavy play gear for My own studio and custom garments for select members of the Sydney community.

In addition to all this, I continue to enjoy the most amazing creative collaboration with Lucas Messerer from Soul Focus Studio. Luke and I work so well together, Me posing in My best and him behind the camera making his magic images. I've been so lucky to work with Luke - as well as to be able to call him a solid buddy.

To celebrate the fabulous occasion, here's a sneak peek of a new shoot Luke and I did, just a few weeks back!

Want to see what else Luke has been up to recently? Click on the pic below to go to his site, see his work and even to buy one of his books! (Yes, those ARE My ballet booted legs! lol)

These images have just hit the web at deepdownandkinky.com, too - so see them here and on this infamous UK-based fetish blog, watched by so many!

I'm really proud to say that I'm still charged up and creatively stimulated, 5 years later!

I can't wait to see what the next 5 years will bring and, for sure, if you knew what I'm currently working on, you'd be damn excited too! ;) ;) ;)

Introducing Trainee Mistress Zahra!

The fabulous Mistress Zahra!

I get calls from women wanting to train under Me to become a Mistress every few months.

Though I've little bandwidth for anything more than sessions, I give everyone a fair chance - as I was given when I applied to the "House of Domination" in Carlton so many moons ago. I go on instinct and interrogate them to the 3rd degree as to who, what, why they might become a Pro Domme.

Many women are surprised at the true nature of the work - and not just the more base elements in some scenes and the sheer amount of time one must put into amassing descent skills - but the tireless cleaning, emails, phone calls, disrespectful clients, no-shows, online "profile management" & simply the courage one needs to walk into the room and start a session.

It's immense - and the majority of it happens behind the scenes. Invariably, these would-be trainees all drop off in disappointment at the lack of free money for just sitting there looking good in a leather corset.

I'm happy to say this lady is very different...

Mistress Zahra is not only a seasoned professional in the sex industry but also a lifestyle player in BDSM. These two things already set Her in excellent stead to train under Me to become a fully-fledged Mistress.

My slaves are aware of My exacting standards with their performance in My sessions. They know I also require the best of any other professionals with whom I conduct My sessions. I have no time for anything less. Life is simply too short and I play hard - or not at all.

I've slowly been bringing Mistress Zahra into My sessions with My regulars and I'm happy to say She shows great promise to become a highly skilled, creative and well rounded Domme even now.

I asked Ms Zahra for Her angle on becoming a Pro Domme, in Her own words!

"I am a sex positive queer feminist exhibitionist who believes fists are for fucking, not for fighting. I am a Penthouse Pet, award-winning stripper, pole dance champion and queer feminist porn star, and am privileged to be training with the highly skilled Professional Dominatrix Mistress Tokyo."

"I am sadistic but nurturing, cruel but kind. Some of my interests include role play, anal play, CBT, corporal punishment, medical play, torture, watersports, latex, rope and mummification. Safety, hygiene and aftercare are important to me, whilst exploring and participating in the exploration of your unique and (hopefully) wickedly perverse desires. BDSM for me is about testing physical and emotional thresholds, healing, trust, open communication, consent and care in a space free from taboos, shame or stigma. I want to hear about your deepest, darkest and most unusual fantasies and help bring them to life."

"Throughout my career I have modeled at the World Body Painting Festival in Austria, undressed on trapeze at Auckland Erotica Expo, taught pole dancing workshops in Sweden, performed in a circus tent at the Amsterdam Burlesque Festival, judged Miss Pole Dance Bavaria in Germany, been a life drawing model in Japan, and belonged to a burlesque troupe at the Adelaide Fringe Festival."

"My practice is influenced by my background in sex worker rights activism and queer politics. I have run for parliament three times for the Australian Sex Party, for House of Representatives, Senate, and Lord Mayor of Sydney, and wrote my Masters degree on feminist practice in the sex industry."

Mistress Zahra is currently available to witness My sessions and participate at a low level of engagement for a nominal tribute.

She has a strenuous schedule outside of dungeon hours so, if you wish to see the two of us in session, appointments must be made at least 2 days in advance to guarantee our mutual availability.

Call Me on 0420 879 204 to discuss your session - and the possibilities of sessioning with Mistress Zahra!

NB: On discrimination and bad politics.

To nip any conjecture straight in the bud... When I became a trainee, Mistress Syn who hired Me stipulated no woman under Her tuition could have had prior experience in the sex industry, as this could "degrade the quality of domination in session".

I know there'll be haters (who gotta hate) who say a stripper cannot ever become a good Pro Domme. This is, of course, crap.

This notion is found all over the world, promulgated by those who think their hard-earned skills somehow become irrelevant when someone *might* take their top off in session, just because they've done it in the past. This is also premised on the fact that, just because you've stripped, you "can't" have a genuine interest in Domination. Also crap - but mainly for those insecure about their lot!

Strippers who've gone on to become excellent and highly successful Pro Dommes dot the globe. Those haters may be surprised who did do their years as an erotic dancer before they picked up the whip.
